☆グビさん遺児育英基金:モハメッドの大学2年生2学期のレポートと第16回めの奨学金支給☆

多くの方々にご支援いただいているサルム・グビ（Salum Ngubi）さんの遺児の学費援助のための『グビさん遺児育英基金』。おかげさまで長男のモハメッドはダルエスサラームから南西に500kmほどのイリンガにある大学で、充実した大学生活を送っています。
☆以下、モハメッド・グビからのレポートの日本語訳（本文の英語は下にあります）と写真です。☆
みなさん、お元気で毎日をご活躍のことと存じます。ぼくも元気です。毎日の課題が達成できるようにベストを尽くしています。2年目の2学期の報告をお送りします。
2学期は4月に始まりました。ほかの学期と少し違って、今学期はより多くのコースと出席しなければならない課題がありました。授業はもの早朝に始まり、夜遅くまで続きました。休む時間はほんの少ししかありませんでした。
最初の週から本格的な授業が始まりました。新しいコースの追加と割り当てとともに。
次の週、5月でしたが、キャンパスで展示がありました。ぼくは学生と先生たちによる様々な研究発表に巡り合う機会を得ました。一番興味をひかれたのがルアハ川の新種の魚の発見に関する発表でした。展示は一週間続きました。芸術、言語、地理、経済、科学などのいろいろな分野の発表に接することができました。
6月に学友たちと一緒にルアハ国立公園に旅する機会を得ました。50人は下らない学生が参加しました。ミクミ国立公園には行ったことがあるので、国立公園に行くのは初めてではありません。でも、ルアハ国立公園に行くのは、初めてのことでした。このツアーで、とても素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。動物のこと、特にライオンとゾウを含むビッグスリーについてたくさん学びました。
7月は学期の最後の月です。2学期の最終試験があります。
最終試験のすぐ後に、学生たちは教育実習に行きます。ぼくは今年はヒジラセカンダリースクールという学校へ行くことになりました。この学校はドドマにあります。8月の最初の週に教え始めました。校長先生に二つの違うクラスを割り当てられました。32人のクラスと45人のクラスです。教える教科は物理です。昨年の教育実習経験から得られたものがあるので、今年は少しやりやすかったです。8月から10月まで3か月続きました。
ドドマでの滞在中にムプワプワとガワエの農場で、ブドウ栽培、養蜂、ウサギ飼育なども学びました。出会ったことのない人々や、新しい友人たちに会うチャンスがあったのも喜びでした。短い間でしたが、様々な活動ができた素晴らしい経験でした。
11月にイリンガに戻り、3年目の勉強に入ります。最後の学年です。

Greetings!
I hope you are all healthy and doing well performing everyday responsibilities. I am in good health, trying my best to accomplish everyday tasks. Here is a report for second semester of second academic year.
The second semester started on April 2019. A bit different from other semesters, this had more courses and assignments to attend to. Classes started too early in the morning and ended late in the evening. There was very little time to rest.
The class sessions began immediately on the same reporting week, with assignments and addition of new courses. On the next month which was May, there was exhibition held at the campus. I got an opportunity to explore various researches presented by students and teachers. In which I mostly liked the presentation on discovery of a new fish species from Ruaha River. The exhibition took one week, exploring subjects on variety of fields such as art, language, geography, economics and science.
On June, I had an opportunity to join my fellow colleagues on a trip to Ruaha national park. The trip consisted not less than 50 students. Although it wasn’t my first time to visit a national, as I had visited Mikumi national park early, but this was my first time for Ruaha national park. I had a great time during this tour, learning a lot about the animals especially the big three including lions and elephants.
July was the last month of the semester in which I did my final university exams for the second semester.
Immediately after the end of final semester exams, students were assigned to field work. This year I was assigned to teach a school known as Hijra secondary school. The school is located in Dodoma region. I started teaching on the first week of August, been assigned by the head of school to teach two different classes. One with 32 students and the other with 45 students, Physics as the teaching subject. This time it a bit easy with some experience gained from the last year’s field work. It took 3 months, from August to October.
During my stay in Dodoma I also learnt about grape farming, bee keeping and rabbit husbandry from various farms found at Mpwapwa and Gawaye. I also glad that I had a chance to meet with new people and make new friends. It was a great opportunity to explore various activities, though it was a short period of time.
On November, I am expecting to return back to Iringa pursuing the third year of my studies, which will be the final one.

★第16回目の支給としてモハメッドへの大学(Mkwawa University and College of Education)の3年目の学費と1学期の学生寮と図書館費などのTsh3,640,000の支給を2019年11月15日に行いました。

・雑費（学生証、試験料など）：Tsh100,000
