☆第十回めの奨学金を支給☆

2013年8月26日に他界した弊社の創業者の一人であったサルム・グビ（Salum Ngubi）さんの遺児の学費援助のための『グビさん遺児育英基金』には多くの方々のご協力をいただいています。 現段階（2017年12月1日）で、82人の方がたから1,557,000円＋US$2,312＋€535＋Tsh1,120,000のご芳志をいただきました。ありがとうございました。
今回の支給はアダさんのひと月にわたる教育の調査のフィールドワークのためのものでした。ご報告が遅れましたが、4月11日に支給しています。 ①宿泊費：Tsh600,000 ②交通費：Tsh30,000 ③食費：Tsh 150,000 ＊合計Tsh780,000 おかげさまで、カンパラ国際大学教育学部のディプロマ課程2年間、学部課程3年間を終え、9月に卒業できました。現在は教員の職を得るために就活中です。 フィールドワークの事も含め、下記にアダさんから報告を載せます。

Hello! Hope you are all fine and doing well. Here is my college report.
On 21 October 2016 the college was opened and proceeds with my daily class routine for third year first semester. On 2 December 2016 I sat for test one of my studies within a week , then after that I managed to proceed with my daily routine. The tests were not very tough since I was prepared for it very well. From there we proceeded with our daily class routine until 25thDecember 2016 where I went home for Christmas and New Year holiday.
On 3rd January 2017 I managed to proceed with my studies since it was the first semester of my last year. From there on 5th February 2017, I sat for test two and spent for a week. From there I proceeded with my daily class routine where I expanded my skills through practical and theoretical ways of teaching which included different findings for example, I have been in Pugu secondary school and Gongo la mboto secondary school for counseling students to concentrate on theirStudies than sexual relationships, and presented the feedback to my guidance and counseling class under my supervisor Dr. Penina and I did well.
In addition to that, on 20th March 2017 I sat for final examinations to complete first semester of the last year, which took me within two weeks, then I went home until the end of Easter holiday and therefore that was the way I spent my studies on 1st semester of the 3 year which made the beginning of the second semester of the 3rd year which was very tough as follows;
On 14th April 2017 was Easter holiday while our department sent us to Kilosa, Morogoro in Tanzania to sit for research field about free education and student academic performance at Kilosa district in Tanzania. The main purpose was to assess the achievement and challenges of free education in rural areas relations to academic performance. I spent one month in the field, I experienced a lot from their life style to the way it took difficult for them to acquire education.
Although the government of Tanzania offered good and free education in order to eradicate ignorance, but to some extent the fail because some of the parents are very poor that they can’t afford other needs like uniform, books and transport fair for the school that located far from theirresidence, so sometimes they gave up to bring their children to school. In addition to that some people from rural areas were not well educated, and hence they took school as a wastage of time so it easy for them to cause school dropout although to some extentthis program helped them to know the important of school and even cause to increase the number of students in schools compared before this campaign. So the field helped me to identify many problems in the education field and came up with possible solutions in my research writing report. On 14thMay 2017 I managed to collect data and complete the research.
From there I proceed with my daily class routine as planned. On 17thJune 2017 I sat for test one and I managed to complete within a week in order to proceed with my daily routine, since it was very tough semester due to the research field and research presentation but I thank God I managed to present the research findings which was on 29th ,30th June and 2nd July. On 30thJuly I started my final exams and spent writing two weeks which lead me to complete second semester of year three, I tried my best although the exam were a bit tough.
On 5th September 2017 the department printed out our results and I thank God I got good result without failed paper. And so am waiting for the government post to be employed, since the posts will be out next year.
From there first of all thanks to the almighty God for his mercy and guidance in giving me full strength to complete this school based experience task, even facing with some difficulties in completing this course but I still managed to complete it. Also I would like to extend my sincerely gratitude to Kampala international University faculty of education for providing me with opportunity to complete an exciting and enriching course.
However I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for the support you gave me throughout the my studies, and am grateful for the encouragement, heartiest wisdom, advise, moral and material support though out my studies since I started this course.In addition to that I really appreciate the care and support you gave me till who I am today, I cannot repay you because there is nothing compares to your favor.

こんにちは！みなさんがお元気でいらっしゃることと思います。 これはわたしの大学のレポートです。
2016年10月21日に3年目の1学期の日々の勉強が始まりました。12月2日からは１週間、テストIを受けました。そのあと、また通常の課程に戻りました。準備をしっかりしていたので、試験はそれほど難しくありませんでした。12月25日まで通常の授業を続け、そのあと、年末年始休暇に入りました。
1月3日に最後の学年の1学期が再開しました。それから一週間にわたり、テストIIを受けました。その後、課程を進めてゆきましたが、それは様々な発見を含む実用的かつ理論的な教育方法を通して自らの持てる力を広げるというものでした。たとえば、わたしはプグ中学校とゴンゴラムボト中学校で、生徒たちに性的な関心事より自らの勉学に集中するようにとカウンセリングをしていました。そして指導教官の元で、その指導とカウンセリングののフィードバックを提示しました。うまくできました。
それに付け加え、3月20日から2週間、最後の1学期を終了させるための最終試験を受けました。それからイースター休みが終わるまで実家に戻っていました。これが3年めの1学期の大学での過ごし方でした。その後に始まる2学期はこれから記すようにたいへんなものでした。
4月14日のイースター休みにタンザニアのキロサ県に無償教育と学業成績についてのフィールド調査のために行きました。主な目的は、地方における教育無償化と学業成績の関係についての課題と成果を評価することでした。ひと月、フィールドで過ごしました。教育を受けることを困難にする彼らの生活態度から多くのことを経験しました。
タンザニア政府は無学を根絶するために教育無償化とその向上を行いました。しかし、うまくいっていないこともあります。貧しさのためにユニフォームや、本、家から学校が遠いためにかかる交通費などを賄えない親たちもいます。そして、子どもを学校にやることを諦めてしまうのです。それに加え、農村部にはあまり教育を受けていないがゆえに学校にやるのは時間の無駄だと考える人々もいます。だから学校からのドロップアウトも起きやすいのです。しかしながら、このプログラムで学校の大切さを知り、このキャンペーンが始まる前に比べ、生徒数は増えたりもしました。フィールド調査で、教育分野の多くの問題を認識することができました。わたしの調査レポートに、考え出した可能な解決策を記しました。5月14日にデータを収集し、調査を完成させました。
その後は予定通り、日課の勉強を進めました。6月17日にテストIを受けました。日課を続けるために一週間でそれを何とか終えました。2学期はフィールド調査とそのプレゼンテーションのためにとてもたいへんな学期となりました。でも、6月29、30日と7月2日の調査で見い出したことの提示発表をやり遂げました、神に感謝します。 7月30日に最終試験が始まりました。2週間を執筆に費やして、3年生の2学期が終わりました。試験は少し難しかったですが、ベストを尽くしました。
9月5日に成績が発表されました。落とす科目はなく、よい結果を得ることができました。神に感謝です。現在は、来年の雇用状況がわかるまで、公的機関の仕事に就けるのを待っているところです。
全能の神とその慈悲とお導きによって、この大学での経験に基づく作業を、全力で終えることができました。感謝しています。この課程を成し遂げるにはいくつかの困難もありましたが、やり終えることができました。また、わたしにエキサイティングで豊かな課程を修了する機会を与えてくれたカンパラ国際大学の教育学部に心から感謝します。
そして、わたしの学業を支え続けてくださった皆さんに深い感謝の気持ちをお伝えしたいです。この課程をスタートして以来、わたしの学業を続けているの間の道徳的、物質的サポート、アドバイスや知恵や心豊かな励ましなどをありがとうございました。さらに今日に至るまで、皆さんが、気遣い、支えてくださったことをほんとうにありがたく思っています。最高のご厚意をありがとうございました。

皆さまのおかげでアダさんが無事に大学を卒業し、教員資格を得ることができました。どんな教師になるか、楽しみなところです。望む職に就けるといいのですが。ご支援、ほんとうにありがとうございます。 ご報告が遅れていますが、アダさんの弟のモハメッドさんは高校を卒業し、無事大学に合格しました。最後の高校生活のレポートが寄せられているので、近いうちにご紹介したいと思っています。グビさんに似て温和で優しい、真面目な子どもたちです。グビさんの子どもたちの教育への遺志をなんとか引き継いでいきたいと思いますので、引き続き見守っていただきたいと思います。
